  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I am trialing your tab menus at the moment and plan to use them on my website. I think they are excellent. I have been trying to work something out and hope you can help me. I have a nice menu set up, and want to change web pages when one of the tabs is clicked. How can the new page have the same java jump menu, but with a different tab activated? I can only seem to get this to work with a menu on a page that goes nowhere. I would have to pass a new value to bselectedItem but I don't know how.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: How can make dhtml tabs to open internet link in the same window?


A: You should set the following paramter in your data.js file (file, created in Deluxe Tuner),
where your tab-menu parameters (vars) and items (  var bmenuItems) are placed.

  var bitemTarget = "_blank";

Default target for all items ("_self","_blank","_parent","_top",...).
If equal to "" - defined as "_self".

Or you can set target parameter in your data file using Deluxe Tuner:
"Tab mode" section in the menu parameters list.




Q: I have the menu installed over a Flash movie. In IE the menu flickers and in Firefox it disappears under Flash movie. Is there a fix for this that allows me to have menu lay pover Flash movie?

You can have such effect in IE7. You should click on the flash. Yourmenu will stop flicker.
