Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I can not figure out how you put the arrow that shows there's more information in the php drop down menu?
I tried and tried to figure it out where you add this .gif file?

A: You should set the following parameters in your data.js file:

  var arrowImageMain=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowmain.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowmaino.gif"];
//Normal and mouseover arrow images for top-level items.

  var arrowImageSub=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowsub.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowsubo.gif"];
// Normal and mouseover arrow images for submenu items.

You can set these parameters in Deluxe Tuner also:

Open 'Icons' section in the main window and set   var arrowImageMain and   var arrowImageSubparameters.



Q: Where can I change the font size in the main deluxe menu's (i.e. Products, About, Contact Us)?
Using the deluxe tuner doesn't allow me change this font or the size, so the submenu's are bigger than the top.


A: You can also check Individual Item Styles. May be you set font sizefor the top items using Individual Item Styles.


Q: Only in XP Styles for dhtml vertical menus I can set the "movable menu" on ?!
When I save to teste this feature doesn't work !!!

A: You can use movable feature in the  var tXPStyle=0;too.

But to use floatable or movable feature you should use absolute position forthe menu:

  var tabsolute=1;
  var tleft="20px";
  var ttop="40px";




Q: The browser I am using is Internet Explorer 7.0 at Windows Vista (with "Security" set at "Medium"). I get the message "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer" and then I have to click this message/bar in order to "Allow blocked content". After I do that the javascript menu script appears as it should, but of course I don't want visitors to go through that. FYI, I do not have the same problem with the dynamic menus on your website or in other websites, which appear normally right from the start.

A: You should adjust your browser settings.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/

and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
