Could you please confirm if this is the case, or if the java pull down menu can in fact be read by screen readers?

A: Deluxe java pull down menu is 508 compliant, but we don't have the certificate at this moment.



Q: I have the cursor set as pointer – on some of the top menu items there is no link behind it yet the cursor still turns to a pointer.

Is there any way to have it so it only becomes a pointer if there is a link?


A: Unfortunately, you can set different cursor type for the menu items.


Q: We are experimenting with your library but can't seem to make it work. I am getting "d_ddm is undefined" in dmenu_popup.js menu script.

Could you tell me what we are doing wrong?

A: You should change

onClick="return dm_popup(1, 500, event);

to

onClick="return dm_popup(0, 500, event);

If you have only one menu on the page your menuInd = 0;

Q: I need to be able to highlight the selected menu en dhtml item of the Deluxe Menu.

A: Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your menu en dhtml data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
