  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use java menu maker using the windows xpstyle1 template. I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus OK. Am I missing something or is this a restriction of the trial system i.e. how do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons

A: Trial version of java menu maker has full functionality of the licensed version.

To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";
  var itemBackColor=["#F2F3F2","#535353"];
and Individual Submenu Style:

Q: I hope you have a instructions so we can install css menu in our website.

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.

1. Create your Css menu in Deluxe Tuner.

When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New" and add items
and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on the main window.
See the parameters for the menu on the main window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File->Save Css Menu/Export HTML

So, you'll have folder with images and .css file ("deluxe-css-menu.files/" folder by default),
deluxe-css-menu.html file and deluxe-css-menu.js file with all menu parameters
(project file you need, if you want to modify your menu later,
there is no need to upload deluxe-css-menu.js on your server).

Open deluxe-css-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows of
code into your page (for example index.html page of your website).

Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

You should also copy "deluxe-menu.files/" folder with all images and .css file
into the same folder with your index.html page.

Q: Using the new version with unmodified menus results in a new frame menu indentation (the left border of the first javascript folding menu entries submenu in a frame menu setup is not aligned with its main menu entry (both in IE 6 and FF 1.5 / Linux)) - possibly we might need to arrange something?

A: I suppose that this is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.

space=0;

Try that.
