A: You can assign link for each item.
Please, use Deluxe Tuner. In the "Item parameters" window you can set text, link, target, iconsfor the menu items.


Q: I have a couple of questions related to the deluxe-menu software. Here they are:

I have been working with on a site and I am kind stack using the program. I want to use the tree option but not all java script drop menu items need to have subcategories. For example:

Category 1

      Sub-menu 1-1

      Sub-menu 1-2

      Sub-menu 1-3

Category 2

      Sub-menu 2-1

      Sub-menu 2-2

      Sub-menu 2-3

Category 3

Category 4 When someone click on the "Category 1" or "Category 2", I want them to see the sub-menus. However, when some click on "Category 3" or "Category 4", I would like to have it open the appropriate page. How do I do this? This will make a lot easier because not all java script drop menu items need to have sub-menus… I hope that makes sense and you can help me on getting this done.

A: You cannot use links for the top java script drop menu items in XP Style only.

Q: I'm interested in to buy the product of yours: deluxe-menu. But I've got a dude.

I've been working with the trial version, but I haven't been able to put HTML code within the javascript pop menu Item, in order to do actions like opening a new URL, or opening a file or page with .htm extension.

A: Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.

Q: I'm currently experimenting with your script which I far more performant than any of the other I have tried so far, so we will probably go with yours and get a distributer license.

I do have a problem though...

I have two menus on my site.

Unfortunately, as they are being used, if you go over the first item in the left menu, it will show its submenu at the top; if you go over the first item of the top menu, it will also show the contents of the second menu...

How can we change this?


A: Installation of your menu is not correct.

There is no
<script type="text/javascript">  var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
parameter on your page.

Notice also that you should call dmenu.js file only once and then callyour data files.
Now you have two calls of dmenu.js file.
