  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. A: You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
from your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: I know this must be somewhere in your support information but I can't find it. Can you tell me something I could do for people who have Javascript turned off so they can at least use my base menu (not the submenus).


A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can generate search engine friendly code.
Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

Q: I need the flyout menus in the flash navigation bar to be able to be different widths.

A: Actually the submenu width is depend on the item's size.
You can alsowrap item's text.
Set   var noWrap=0; or use standard <br> tagsinside items' text:

You can set exact width for each submenu using IndividualSubmenu Styles.


Q: Is it possible to not download (pre-load) the images in the javascript menu array (some attributes in the data.js file ..)?

I would like to download them only on rollover on the submenu... I am aware of the ajax version of the menu, but ....
