  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I can not figure out how to fix the menu from going off the page inMozilla by using html code. I don't know where to put the code. I would likeit to be flush right.


A: Try to set exact width for the menu width and menu height, try to specify unitsin "px":
  var menuWidth="500px";
It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.

You should also check your padding parameter, you should write it so:

Q: The asp drop down menu should indicate with on which page I me just considers

A: Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover, but
you can highlight menu items in two ways:

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

Q: How do I make the top nav buttons exactly the same width for each button?

Total menu width is 743px and I have 6 buttons I want the width of each button to be fixed at 123px.

I set   var menuWidth="743" but it averages out the buttons based on the text.
