  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. I want a menu with the expandable + signs on the left which will expandon rollover and allow only one to be expanded at the same time.


A: You should set the following parameters

  var texpandItemClick = 1;
  var tcloseExpanded = 1;
  var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;

Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.


Q: The property   var showByClick=1; not work in popupMode=1; ??? Is it possible ???


A: Unfortunately it is really impossible to show submenu on click in popup mode.


Q: There's no explanation of what to do after creating a dhtml menu example or where to paste the code, which files to upload..

A: 1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.

When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on
the main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).
Save your data file.
Add several rows into your html page.

You should also copy all engine files
dmenu.js
dmenu4.js
dmenu_add.js
dmenu_dyn.js
dmenu_key.js
dmenu_cf.js
dmenu_popup.js
dmenu_ajax.js
dmenu_search.js

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder. You should place this folder in the
same folder with your index.html page.

Try that.



Q: Will html navigation bar work with site created using FrontPage?

A: Yes, Deluxe CSS Menu will work fine with site created in Frontpage.

Add all code generated by Deluxe Tuner.
You should copy all css styles for the menu and add it into your own .css file (orcreate a new .css file for the menu and call it on your page).

Then copy all HTML code for the menu and paste it in the place where you want to have amenu.

To view css styles and html code click "View HTML" button on the Preview window in theDeluxe Tuner.
