Q: I looked through your FAQ's to solve my problem of trying to make the background of the top dhtml slide menu transparent. I set the itemBackColor to transparent and also menuBackColor to transparent. Do I have to changeanother setting to activate this? Right now it is currently white and I can't even find a spot that would make it white, unless it's just white by default.

A: Check that you haven't set background color in the Individual Styles.

Q: Is your menu maker compatable with Expression Web?

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/Microsoft Expression Web extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see: http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

Q: I cannot get the separator image to display in my dhtml right click menu. Is there a setting I am missing? I want to separate the main menu items with an image.

A: To add a separator you should
