Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

I don't know what's happenning I followed the instructions that you describe in your installation process. I'm using the menu in a jsp page.


A: Now on your page you have only search engine friendly code for Deluxe Menu. You do not have menu.

You should paste also such lines, for example:

and

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/data.js"></script>

Where data.js is the file with your menu. You can create such file using Deluxe Tuner.

You should upload this files on your server in the correct place.


Q: I am looking at purchasing the Drop Down Menu Program. I cannot find any examples of other sites that may be using your product.
And each link that I click on for help gives me code to use on the page. Does this mean that I need to know JavaScript to use this program effectively? How recent is the newest version of your program?
Please advise if there is a support forum, also.

Q: I am trying the menu and facing one problem…

The text is too large and doesn't wrap around.. instead it makes the javascript left menu wider.

My javascript left menu needs to be 175 px only.. if there are too many characters in the link, I like it to wrap around to the next line…

Any options?

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

You can also use standard <br> tags inside item's text:
