Q: I tried the new engine files and the submenus now show up in the bottom frame.

If the new page in the bottom frame is a frameset itself, the menus will not show up. Is there a work around for this?

A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu can work within 1 frameset only. It can't work within nested framesets.

I don't know what's happenning I followed the instructions that you describe in your installation process. I'm using the menu in a jsp page.


A: Now on your page you have only search engine friendly code for Deluxe Menu. You do not have menu.

You should paste also such lines, for example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/dmenu.js"></script>

and

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/data.js"></script>

Where data.js is the file with your menu. You can create such file using Deluxe Tuner.

You should upload this files on your server in the correct place.


Q: I currently have the menus set to show the selected item in white and the non-selected items in blue.

However, I can only choose one item in each menu.

Is there any way to choose multiple items from a single ajax drop down menu and have all of selected items show white? If so, what option do I need to enable for the ajax drop down menu?

Programmatically, I think it would be similar to something to:

A: No, Deluxe Menu doesn't has a feature to highlight multiple items now.

Actually you can use the following function:
function dm_ext_changeItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)

You can create Individual Item Style with style of selected item andusing this function assign it for the items you want to highlight

Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.

2) Actually you can create any java script navigation menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu. For example:
