Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! A: To create your menu on MAC you can use HTML version of Deluxe Tuner (for MAC OS). You can find it here:

Q: Tell us javascript code to select or highlight the tab and sub tab in javascript tabs navigation.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

Q: I have menus generated by you deluxe menu package . They look fine on all my computer but look bad on my friends computer.
Can this be fixed?


A: Thanks for your interest in our products.

Try to specify all units in "px", for example:

  var menuHeight="22px";

Try to set exact width for menu item
  var menuWidth="736px";

Try also not to set
  var smWidth="0";
  var smHeight="0";

Please, see the attached data file.

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.


Q: I would like two level of tabs i.e.

Tab 1 entertainment

Opens up another level of tabs
Tab 1_2 movies with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_3 music with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_4 tv and so on...


A: Unfortunately, you cannot do it using Deluxe Tabs in TabMode. Youcannot use object ID to show in TabMode, only links.

You can use 2 menus:

Tab 1 entertainment //1st menu
