Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I now wish to dynamically change the drop down menu in html parameters. For this, I have set the following parameters:

Unfortunately it is not possible to change drop down menu in html parameters (  var ...)after menu initialization.
So, there is no way to change
  var itemTarget="Sub_Main";

But you can change target for each item individually (targetparameter in menuItems) using dm_ext_changeItem function.

Q: I ordered & installed the dhtml collapsable menu.
I can't seem to get the floating function to work. Here's how I have the variables set in the data-tree.js file:

  var tfloatIterations = 10;
  var tfloatableX = 0;
  var tfloatableY = 1;

A: Notice, your dhtml collapsable menu won't float with relative position. You shouldset:

Q: Utilizing the drop down web menu under Internet Explorer 7, it gives me a popup of “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restrictedthis webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for optons….

  Is there a way to bypass this popup and IE recognize it as a valid script?


A: Please, see security preferences: IE/Tool/Internet OptionsMake sure that Active content is enabled.

You should check your Security Settings.

There is no way to enable these settings automatically.
