Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: Thank you so much for your time and assistance - I've been charged with this project and still struggling a little. Considering my total ignorance to code, I'm understanding much better now, but could you please take a look at the page and tell me why I now have double menus and how to correct?


A: It happens because at first you call
<SCRIPT src="CHSD Map_files/data.js" type=text/javascript > </SCRIPT >
and then you paste the content of data.js file in your code.
That's why you have two menus on your page.Please, delete one of them.


Q: Could I create a function that displays thetab that the user clicked in the left tab menu.
These tabs are all within the same window, sothe page will always be the same.
Just need a function to make differenttabs appear.

A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.

You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

For example:

Q: Hello, I am using your tabs product inside an ASP.NET AJAX update Panel. The problem is, after an async postback occurs, the php dhtml menu tabs no longer show. Do I need to make user a specific function is called/registered??? Please help.

A: Try to call your data files (files with php dhtml menu parameters) once again after each request.
