  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

I've been working with the trial version, but I haven't been able to put HTML code within the javascript pop menu Item, in order to do actions like opening a new URL, or opening a file or page with .htm extension.

A: Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.

Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: Do I need any additional loaded software as a visitor to a webplace using the Deluxmenu, for example Java applet, flash etc.?


A: You don't have to install additional software.
Your customer should change security settings in IE to allow Javascript on pages he loads.

When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.


Q: I fixed that problem, but if you look at the website, I have the first 2 links in the javascript sliding menu set to show up in the mainframe but nothing happens. When I open deluxe menu on my computer, it also shows that I have the third link set up to show in the mainframe too but when I upload it to the website, it acts like it's not pointing to any file/url

A: Now you have:
