Q: I am using deluxe-menu for the third time to create a school web site. It has worked fine on the previous two sites, but I am making a horizontal menu this time instead of a vertical menu. The menu won't align itself correctly in Firefox. I read the post in your FAQ and I set the align tag in the TD element and also the size attribute, but that didn't work.

Could you give me some suggestions. It looks fine ie IE, but not Firefox.


A: Try to specify exact value for menu width.

For example:
  var menuWidth="800px";

It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.


Q: I have used your Deluxe-menu on my websit. With the browser Opera I have problems with the dhtml scrolling menu item-color. If I select the menu at the first time, the item color is black. After select a menu item the menu item color is #f0e4cc, this is correct. After re-select the menu the item color is #f0e4cc also. After browser re-start the menu item color is black :-(

A: See it is not correctly to write colors in the following way (without # symbol):
  var fontColor=["f0e4cc","f0e4cc"];

You should write:
  var fontColor=["#f0e4cc","#f0e4cc"];

Your menu will work correctly in all browsers in that case.

Q: I bought the product Deluxe Menu & Tree & Tabs and I need support. How I make to insert a code java in the event on click of the button "Ok", when this button is in tree dhtml menu bar? For example, it sees the figure in annex. The button "ok" it validates login and the password of the user, through the database.

I live in Brazil. Exists some support in Portuguese?

You are able to paste any html code within items.

For example:
