A: You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
from your data file to your code.

Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.

2) Actually you can create any java script navigation menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu. For example:

Q: May I use this menu in Arabic mode I mean in right to left mode?

If yes please let me know how?


A: You're able to use any characters for Deluxe Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.

The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

  var dmRTL = 0;
Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.

Use also
  var smViewType = 2;
for right-to-left languages.

This examples demonstrates how the menu can change a submenusdirection. Use   var smViewType parameter to change a submenusdirection:

  var smViewType = 0..3;

Values:
0 - from left to right;
1 - from left to right + upwards;
2 - from right to left;
3 - from right to left + upwards;

In Deluxe Menu when you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

Unfortunately, you can't use arabic characters in Deluxe Tuner application.You should manually correct your code.


Q: I have set up the dhtml menu javascript at this site. I have chosen to use the transitional filter from IE6. The main menus and sub menus work fine in IE but in Firefox the sub menus do not appear at all. Is their a fix for this. I realize that firefox does not support IE transitions but Ithought the sub menus would appear when the main item is clicked on. that hs not happened. Go to above URL and vie in both IE and Firefox and you will see what I mean.
