Q: For any reason dropdown menu in javascript know shows incorrect accented characters.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.2.7.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example
É - Capital E, acute accent - E
ç - Small c, cedilla - c

Q: When i stay on one page so must have the menue-point of the html menu for this page another color or font. How can i make this?


A: You should set pressed item.
Please, check the following parameter

  var pressedItem=-2;

This parameter sets an index of an item that will be highlighted by default.
-2 - the toggle mode is disabled;
-1 - the toggle mode is enabled, but no items highlighted by default;
0,1,2,3,... - index of highlighted item in a top-menu.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

You can also set the correct
  var pressedItem=1;
parameter on each html page.


Q: Can you provide indication on how to apply the cross-frame mode from your html menu builder?



A: You should create your menu in Deluxe Tuner and save your data file.
Then you should open your data file in any text editor and change your
dm_init(); function.

Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?

A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:
