Q: I am having a problem creating a submenu. I did not get any js errors but nothing happens.
What I have found is that even when I have dynamic=1;
I was getting an error saying object expected so I added the dmenu_dyn.js manually (i.e. <scripttype="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu_dyn.js"></script>) but now get no errors but no submenu is created.
Do I have to add all the js files in the menu folder manually as I thought it was just
<scripttype="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu.js"></script>
that was needed.
All, I am trying to add a submenu under the challenge topmenu.
function addChallengeItems(){

And then a href that calls addChallengeItems()

A: There is no need to add all engine files into your menu folder.
You can add only
dmenu.js
dmenu_dyn.js

Please delete also the following line from your code
<script type="text/javascript"src="../../Javascript/menu/dmenu_dyn.js"></script>

Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.
A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Unfortunately we don't have examples with ASP and SQL.

Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: I just noticed another problem: when I set dmObjectsCheck=1 and I click on a menu-item of the dropdown menu nothing happens! No matter whether the banner is flash or not. And no matter if the browser is IE or Firefox. As soon as I set dmObjectsCheck=0 the submenu works again.
A: You should set the following parameter
var dmObjectsCheck=1;
You should also add dmenu_add.js file into the folder with yourdmenu.js file.
