Q: Hello I am testing your product Deluxe Menu, and want to create a special tree-menu.
I have a question:
Is it possible to have two icons in front of each dhtml menu item?
I need two icons in front of each menu-item that will symbolize an alarm and a sabotage-alarm.
I want to use animated gifs on these so that I can visualize alarm and sabotage on each menu-item.
But I also need an icon on the right side of the menu to show if the menu-item is expanded or not.
I want the structure to be like this:

Actually you can use any html code within menu items.

Q: I have an HTML application with 4 iframes. The main html file contains 3 iframes (top toolbar, left toolbar, and main area) and the menu. The main area iframe contains one additional iframe were the actual data is. When I interact with the data in this last iframe and try to dynamically change the menu in the .html file I get the error message: 'm' is null or not an object
The API call is:
dm_ext_addItem(0, 0, ["test1", "testlink.htm", "", "", "test1m", "_blank", "1"]);
I only have one menu.
I am using IE6
I included these files in both the hta file and the iframe source file.

A: Deluxe Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. It works with<frameset> objects only. All it can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.
You should use standard installation for the menu (cross-frame mode).

Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.
A: Add items using the following function:
function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)
Adds the new item to a submenu.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.
Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.
