Q: The /js subdirectory of the Apycom Tree Menu trial package has no data file, i.e. the data file is missing.
A: This file can be renamed, for example, into tree-data.js.
This file contains Javascript code with menu parameters and items.
It has the following structure:
var param1 = value1;
var param2 = value2;
var param3 = value3;
...
var tmenuItems = [...];

Q: I created a tree menu based on your template Vista Style 7.
I would like to know if there are some possibilities to set the x coordinate of the submenus. I would like to have a tree menu with submenus which are not moving to the right when expanding the main menu but staying under it.
A: You can only try to use the following parameter to change submenuposition:

Q: The menu has a problem with newlines. The menu builds correctly (layout ok) but when pressed on the button nothing happens
At some point, in the DHTML menu, we have the following in the javascript:

As you can see we have a newline (\n) between the words "screen" and "will". But when we click on the button nothing happens. If we remove the newline and we click on the button then we first get the alert box. After pressing the OK button the function printResult is called.
Is there any way for us to still use the newline character in the menuItems variable?
This can be easily reproducible. That's why I haven't made an example.

Q: I want that this tree expanded or collapsed (clicking on the image. e.g. like the right button) and go to the link when clicked on the item.
A: No problem.
You can assign a link to the item that has subitems.
When you'll click on item's button, it'll be expanded.
When you'll click on the item, item's link will be opened.
