Q: I'm trying the deluxe menu and I'm positively impressed.

But now I'm trying to simply use javascript to add some properties to my menu.

I modified the dynamic to 1

and I get only one error in the javascript monitor telling me:

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0. (you have written menuInd=1, but if you have one menu on your page you should write 0).
You also have written itemStyleInd=1, but you have only one style in your menu. So you should write "0" or "-1".


Q: There's a 1 pixel white padding around the css drop down menu that I'm trying to remove.

Is it a padding setting -- a margin setting -- a div setting?

A: This is a shadow.

Set the following parameter:

Q: Is there a way we can add javascript behaviors to the popup menu in java actions? For example, is there a way we can add an onClick function to a popup menu in java item (eg, onClick="return MyFunction( )" ) so that we can catch and process key events?

I'm really hoping there's a way of doing this...

A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item. However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within popup menu in java items, for example:

You can use your own Javascript code instead standard links. For example:

  var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];



Q: Am having problems adding to my site. I have a site all made ready to accept the new menu I made in your trial software. I copy code from the exported page over and place where it seems appropriate. When I preview the menu doesn't display but a link to purchase does. Is this because it is the trial software or something else.


A: When your security settings in browser doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
