A: Please, check the following parameters:
  var itemTarget="_self"; //default target

You can set target parameter for each item.

See menuItems parameter:

Q: The problem is now that I have a scroll bar in the main menus although there is nothing to scroll.

A: You've set the exact width and height for submenus.

Try to write:

Q: How do I make the main nav links in the dhtml navigation align left (they are center aligned).

A: Try to use the following parameter:

  var itemAlignTop="left";


Q: Is it possible to enter text in the java source code that won't display as a link?


A: If you don't want to use items as links you can disable these items.
To disable item you should set target parameter to "_".

You can do it in "Item Parameters" window.
