Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

Q: I'm experimenting with the purchased Treemenu. Looks very nice!

A question: When I set the menu width to 200px and the text of the item exceeds this width, text is not wrapped resulting in some strange display. How can I wrap the text in the java menu tree?

I can not simply use extra <br> tags because the data of the items are dynamic (php + MySQL).


A: You should set the following parameter

  var tnoWrap=0;

Try that.


Q: I was enthused to see you had cross-frame support for your menus. But, as I got into it, I discovered that your javascript transparent menu doesn't support frames within frames.

A: Actually Deluxe Menu works correctly with nested frames in most cases.Try to install Deluxe Menu in cross-frame mode. If you'll have someproblems you can send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.



Q: We have been evaluating your menu control.
But we are not able to use PNGFix javascript which is used for transparent PNG image in our down navigation bar. Your menu is transparent but it goes one layes behind. It should come on top of all with transparecy.

Your reply could help us make a buying decision.

A: Unfortunately it is really so. PNGFix javascript won't work.

We'll try to add feature to use transparent PNG images in the next version of Deluxe Menu.

Q: When I save the file in our folder all the icons stop showing.  I placed a image folder in our IE folder and still no icons are showing.

A: You should check all your paths.
Please, check that you have correct paths in the tmenuItems. Forexample:
