A: Your visitors should change security settings in IE to allow Javascript on pages they load.

When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.


Q: Extremely new at this and likely way over my head…..but why when I attempt to use my own button image in the “itemBack Image” selection under “Edit Individual Styles” does it keep showing up blank in the preview screen?


A: Please, check all your paths.
You can also use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:

Q: Does this cross browser menu support only english menus or I can make an english and russian menus as well with deluxe menu multiple license?

A: Actually you can use any language in the cross browser menu.

Check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode" in Deluxe Tuner.



Q: Is it possible to make the menuitems rightclickable in the latest version of javascript dhtml menu. I want to rightclick on the dropdown item and choose open in new window.

A: No, there is no such a feature in Deluxe Menu v3.2.7.

You can write your item in the following way:

But you should assign style for this link.
