Q: The menu has a problem with newlines. The menu builds correctly (layout ok) but when pressed on the button nothing happens

At some point, in the DHTML menu, we have the following in the javascript:

  var menuitems = [

 ["|Print HTML","javascript:alert('HTML print: Only the 7 most recent orders on the screen \n will be printed because of space limitations on paper.');printResult('4'); ","","", ,"_parent",,] ]

As you can see we have a newline (\n) between the words "screen" and "will". But when we click on the button nothing happens. If we remove the newline and we click on the button then we first get the alert box. After pressing the OK button the function printResult is called.

Is there any way for us to still use the newline character in the menuItems variable?

This can be easily reproducible. That's why I haven't made an example.

Q: I'am trying the deluxe menu v3.2.3.6 but I don't Know how to do it in order to get the same as you have in your page, I mind how I have to do to add the content in each javascripts menu tab?

A: You should specify any Object ID name of the DIV.

See, for each item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your javascripts menu parameters).

Q: I've browsed your product, and I'm trying to determine if there is an existing template that would support a vertical flyout menu, where the static menu is one button, but when clicked on, it lays out 5 additional buttons in a straight line horizontally to the right of the static button. Is this feasible to create with your product with relative ease, and if so, what's the easiest way?

Q: The menu maps to the width size of the longest menu item on the list, can you tell me how I can restrict this, and have a fixed menu size.

A: Unfortunately it is really so.
You can try to wrap your text.

You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap = 0;

or use <br> tags within menuItems.
