Q: Hello, I am trying to figure out how to use the Dynamic functionality in the java menu codes. I believe I want to use something like the dm_ext_changeItemVisibility function, and I want it to be dependent on HTML wrapped around the menu item.

Below is functionally how I want it to work:

Q: I have been trying for months to find an answer to my submenu problem using your FAQ and Recent Questions.
The only thing that comes close to an answer is from one of your Recent Questions below, but I don't understand the answer. Will you please give me specific code or info to fix? Please refer to my frameset code and data.js info, which I've provided further down this message.

I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).

I am using the script and data from your sample file, it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top javascript hide menu.

A: Yes, I suppose that the reason is in your frame structure. For examplenow you have:

top -------------------

Try to add additional frame in your top frame with the same width asyour left frame has:

l-top-|right-top-----------------

left--|main----------------------
       |
       | **submenus**
       |

Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: About to purchase my third license, but I have a problem.  I just loaded the menu tuner 3 on to my pc and updated my menu.  Now, my second “drop down” column of the menu goes up instead of down like the rest.  Can you tell me how to correct this?
