How do I make the left hand padding greater for the menu? I’m using the XP Style 1 and the far left top menu item is running up against my left hand border. I want to add about 10px of spacing to the left of the menu. How do I make the options in a menu have equal spacing? For instance, if there are 5 items in the menu, how can each have 100% / 5?

A: You can use Individual Item styles to set specific parameters for eachitem or submenu.

2., 4. You should specify itemPadding parameter in "px". You shouldadd "px" in your style for subitems:

Notice also that you can set multiple value for itemPadding parameter,for example:

4. You should set the exact width for the java menu templates:
  var menuWidth="500px";
and set width for the top items using Individual styles:

Unfortunately it is not possible to specify item's width in '%' inIndividual styles. The following width parameters won't work.

Q: I'm trying to implement your javascript menu source on a clients' web site.

If you go to my website you'll see my problem. I can't get javascript menu source to centre in the table I want it to - which is just below the header flash in between the two yellow lines.

You should use relative position:

Is it possible to have two icons in front of each dhtml menu item?

I need two icons in front of each menu-item that will symbolize an alarm and a sabotage-alarm.

But I also need an icon on the right side of the menu to show if the menu-item is expanded or not.

Q: I have deluxe-menu 3.2.5 and now I can't open my old menu files. I get thefollowing error message in dhtml menu creator "Can't open the file:
H:\data-menu.js. Check youre encode parameter." I have tried to open several different menu files and I always get the same error message. Do you have any solution of this problem?

A: You should change Deluxe Tuner settings:

Try to turn off the encoding property "Tools/use utf8 encode" and open your datafile once again.
