Q: I have included your menu in my latest site.
My problem is that the menu javascripts, as opposed to being in a fixed position as stated in the .js file floats up and down with the page... How do I fix this..
A: You should set the following parameter to disable the floating feature:
var floatable=0;Q: I have another question.. after I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the mouseover tab, the tab defaults back to the original default tab.
Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted. I know that I need to set the var bselectedItem but if you have a "nifty" way for me to do that I am all ears.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

</TD> Q: This is probably a really basic question, but I was wondering if your software makes it possible to determine the direction of the drop down menu. In other words, my easy dropdown menu is at the bottom of the page and I want the drop down list to actually go "up," not down. Is that possible with your software?
A: Yes it is possible.
You should use the following easy dropdown menu parameter

Q: Can I use data from a SQL server using ASP for the dhtml xml menu?
A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:
