Q: When I run the cursor over the menu, the menu images disappear for usually a split second, but sometimes for several seconds at a time. Is there a way to make the image static or keep it solid when the cursor runs over it?


A: You can have such effect when the page entirely was not loaded yet.
So, images were loaded only for the 1 state and for the other stat were not loaded yet.

If you don't want to have such effect you can use 1 state buttons.


Q: I still am unable to make content show for each menu with dhtml tab.

I can make it open a new webpage, but that isnt what I want.

What I want is when the visitor clicks a tab, then content for that tab shows, on the same page, and the tab menu still there.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within menu with dhtml item's link field:"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

Q: I'm interested in using DHTMLMenu in web applications I develop and have some questions about licensing.

My company develops web applications that act as front ends for clients' legacy mainframe programs.  DHTML Menu would be of great benefit in adding navigation functionality to these applications.  Each application is custom-developed for each client, so we don't have a pre-packaged product in which the menu would be used.  Would the Developer License meet our needs for this sort of development?

Also, a small minority of our clients develop and distribute applications themselves based on the applications that we develop for them.  Does the Developer License support transferable redistribution?  If not, how much would a license that permitted this cost?
