Q: Hi, I am testing your menu system for my company and would like to know how to keep the menu in the centre of the page like <centre></centre>.
I know how to do it without a floating menu but cannot work out how to do this with it floating.


A: When you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: Is there any way to have the browser reset the horizontal tree view to allcollapsed each time the browser is reopened?

A: You should set the following parameter in that case:

  var tsaveState=0;

Q: Is there a way to make the vertical drop down menu dhtml not reset after a link is clicked. Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page but all the menus re-expand.

A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the vertical drop down menu dhtml.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:

1. Save the state to cookies

2. Use frames
