  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: We are using the deluxe menu in one of our projects. The menu works well on our integration system but not on our production system.

The only difference is that the integration is running on Tomcat Version 5.5.9 and the production (with the "broken" menu) on Tomcat 5.5.17.

But for me it looks more like a browser problem than a JSP problem.
Unfortunatley the Tomcat 5.5.17 is our production system so fast help is appreciated.


A: Try to set the following parameter:

  var dmObjectsCheck=1;

Make sure that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.


Q: Two questions. First I get a "Error! Skin Load!" popup when my onmouseover popup window loads.
I see references to "skin.js". Is this supposed to be generated?

Secondly.

I am being really dense. I would like to use Deluxe Popup Windows in response to a mouse click on a picture. So far with deluxe Menu, I just put a statement like this:

where I wanted the menu to show up. The web page loads and the Deluxe Menu displays.

I have managed to make the onmouseover popup window appear by using that code, the web page loads and the popup loads (with the skin error).

I know how to get a larger picture from a smaller one like this:

A: See, to install Deluxe Popup Window you should call two .js files onyour page:

Copy deluxe-popup-window.files folder and deluxe-popup-window.js fileinto the same folder with your html page.

How might we be able to include your javascript menu scripts within e.g. asp tags? We'd like some menu options to be hidden from some users, but I'm getting errors when I put asp tags in your data.js file.

A: It seems to me that you have syntactical error in your code.

Please, check that you don't have double quotes in your code. If you have several quotes you shoulduse back slashes before them, for example:
