Q: There is a default gap between two collapsible javascript menu buttons. Suppose the two menu are "Company profile" and "Service", there is a default gap between those tow , it is not taking the specified space( for example I am putting 2px gap but it is taking a default gap) Please suggest me the solution for the same.

A: You should use new parameter in the data file:

  var tXPMenuSpace=0;



Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.


A: Add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.

iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.

Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: I have some problems with Deluxe Tree.
I have set the   var tlevelDX to 5 to decrease the indent for each level of items, but would like to decrease the indent even more. Ican't find the parameter that will set the indent in pixels of thefirst level item.

Also, is there a setting that will put text for a menu item on a second line?

A: You can make the smallest indent this way:
  var tlevelDX = 0;
You are not able to have more little indent. This place is reservedfor + buttons.

Try to set this parameter:

  var tnoWrap=0;

You can also use <br> tags in the item text, for example:

  var tmenuItems = [
["line 1<br>line 2"],
];


Q: In the navigation bar below (done in Spanish) I am trying to display the word “Niños” (Children) but looks like this special character is not displayed correctly.  How I fix this?


A: Try to write it in the following way:“Ni&ntilde;os”
