Q: Is there a way to have the sub menus open to the left instead of the right?


A: You should set the following parameter:

  var smViewType=2;


Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?

I honestly don't recall it happening before but it now does. I probably didn't pay attention. Thank you!

Q: Can I expand all tree category in the collapse menu html?



A: You can expand all items in Deluxe Tree, set:
  var texpanded=1;

To expand specific items you should add "+" sign before item's text:

Q: I have built a menu which will sit in a frame on the left hand side of the page.
When sub menus are selected they display in the same frame.
How do I make them appear over the adjoining frame?


A: Please, check you dm_init function. You should write it so:
dm_initFrame("frmSet", 1, 2, 1);
