  • Submenus drop down over all the objects of the page (select, flash, object, embed, applet). If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object, the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

FireFox - when hovering over the Product Info or Samples buttons, the Deluxe Menu flash element disappears behind the drop-down menu.

I notice this pages states: "If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.".


A: Unfortunately, it is really so.
Now there is no work around for this.
We'll try to fix this bug in the future version of Deluxe Menu.


Q: How do I make the main nav links align left in my horizontal menu (they are center aligned).

A: Try to use the following parameter:

  var itemAlignTop="left";


Q: I'm trying to sell a client on using Deluxe Menu but one complaint is that the text is not centered in the menu pad and I can't find a function in Deluxe Tuner which allows for centering.
I've downloaded the latest version but it didn't help.


A: You should set the following parameter to center your top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";


Q: I have a quick question: I have an iframe menu item (see note 1) for the dhtml menu sample,
and when I click a link in that iframe, I would like to close the menu.
Is this possible, perhaps by using a javascript call?


A: You couldn't close the menu, you can only hide it.
You can try touse the following code to hide the menu.
