Q: I have problem with our characters also, the иж№рѕИЖ©Р® are all messed up. The program doesn't work on iso-8859-2 charset.
How can I change the charset of the code it generates? I did in templates, bt generator still generates the menu in windows-1250 charset.
Well, I can edit by hand later but...


A: You should set charset attribute on your page:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2" />

Unfortunately, you can't see these characters correctly in Deluxe Tunerapplication.


Q: I am trying to make the tab menu to work correctly and after extensive testing and I have come across a problem that I can seem to get resolved. I am using images for the tab menu with no text and <divs> to display information about each tab. However while the page loads I can see all the content from all the <div> java menu bars and when the page if fully loaded, the web page then displays the content correctly with all the content hidden until the correct tab is selected. Mind you this is the only thing on the webpage so there shouldn’t be any load time problems.

Please advice what is happen to resolve this issue.

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

Q: I have been trying for months to find an answer to my submenu problem using your FAQ and Recent Questions.
The only thing that comes close to an answer is from one of your Recent Questions below, but I don't understand the answer. Will you please give me specific code or info to fix? Please refer to my frameset code and data.js info, which I've provided further down this message.

I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).

I am using the script and data from your sample file, it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top javascript hide menu.

A: Yes, I suppose that the reason is in your frame structure. For examplenow you have:

Try to add additional frame in your top frame with the same width asyour left frame has:
