Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).
  • Use any necessary font of any color, size and font decoration. Create any available type, thickness and color of a menu's frame.Choose any color for backgrounds of submenus and items.
  • Specify various values for padding and spacing for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

You can use ready to use templates. I'm sending you package with alltemplates. Just open data file in Deluxe Tuner.

Add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder. You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.



Q: When I export the file sometimes the links doesn't work in css tabbed menu


A: See, you can use links if you have
  var tabMode=1;
only.

If you have
  var tabMode=0;

You should use the ID of the DIV.

But you can try to open your pages using different targets in thefollowing way

["tab text", "javascript: window.open('http://deluxe-tabs.com/test.html', '_self')", ...],
["tab text", "javascript: window.open('html/test.html', '_blank')", ...],

Where frameName - the name of the frame where to open the page test.html.

Using this method you can create Deluxe Tabs in  var tabMode=0; and   var tabMode=1;


Q: Shall I have to call the main egine file of the javascript menu maker - dmenu.js twice if I want to install two menus on the page.

The second script:

Is for the top navigation menu, the datahscounseling is for the side menu. If I delete that line won't my top navigation be gone?

A: No, when you have several menus on the same page you should calldmenu.js file only once and then call several data files.

You should install the menus in the following way:

Q: The xml drop down menu gets at the back of the flash..Can you tell us the problem?

A: You can try to add the following parameters for flash objects:

<PARAM NAME=wmode VALUE=opaque> and WMODE="opaque" for <EMBED>

It allows to overlap a flash movie by other layers.
