Q: I use your product for one of my clients and so I am familiar with using Deluxe Tuner on the Mac and editing that menu, etc. It is a simple menu though, that doesn't use any images or anything fancy.

I want to purchase the javascript nav menu for another client.

My question is, he loves that tabbed javascript nav menu I originally did, and right now they are in one big image map. I can cut them up, but with your menu software, will I be able I to have the top menu as those tab images, and the sub-menu show on mouseover as just plain text? (Like SigmaFlow's sub-menus.)

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Q: I have 6 menu items that are ALL graphics...they can't just be background images because they all have graphic text, so the rollovers are unique to each menu item. I just need it to function like a typical rollover with images.


A: Yes, you can create such menu.

You should write your menu items in the following way:

Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

Q: I have some problems with Deluxe Tree.
I have set the   var tlevelDX to 5 to decrease the indent for each level of items, but would like to decrease the indent even more. Ican't find the parameter that will set the indent in pixels of thefirst level item.

Also, is there a setting that will put text for a menu item on a second line?

A: You can make the smallest indent this way:
  var tlevelDX = 0;
You are not able to have more little indent. This place is reservedfor + buttons.

Try to set this parameter:

  var tnoWrap=0;

You can also use <br> tags in the item text, for example:
