  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I'm trying to shrink the vertical size of the sub-menu entries in my menu:

I think I've specified all the parameters correctly in data.js, but itТs hard to tell what affects the height of the submenu entries. Even reducing the type from 10pt to 8pt didnТt shrink them at all.


A: See, you set the following parameter:

  var itemPadding = 7;

That is why you have such a big padding around the items.

If you don't want to change the appearance of the main items youshould create Individual Style for the subitems. For example:

  var menuStyles = [
["itemPadding=2px"],
];

And assign this style for the first item in submenu.


Q: My top levels over the menu have no link and as such I need the cursor not to change when hovering over it – only change over the menus that drop down.

Please let me know how to fix this


A: Unfortunately, you can't change cursor type for different items.
But you can write so:

["< a href='http://deluxe-menu.com/'> Home ["Product Info","", , , , , "0", , , ],
 ["|What's New","", , , , , "0", , , ],

In all items with links you should use < a> tag.

Set this parameter:
  var itemCursor="default";


Q: I am creating my website on Frontpage. When I put my drop down menu in the centre of the page, it will be in the explorer browsers in the centre of the page, but when I look at other browers it isn't in the centre but on theright. I cant fix the problem. I cant find it.


A: Try to set exact width for the menu in "px":

  var menuWidth="400px";


Q: I have set it to:

  var tlevelDX=0;

It has helped somewhat but there still is a gap between the left side and the image icon. Is there any other parameter I can alter to push it more to the left?

A: You can try also to set the following parameters:
