Q: Here is a snapshot from the javascript drop down menu:

If I click on test1 which is a Norwegian newspaper, it works.
But it I click on test2 which is a link to my page – it does not work.
A: You cannot use "" symbols within menuItems. It is not correct.
Try to write your javascript drop down menu items in the following way:
["admin","/Main/Administration.asp", "", "", "", "", "1", "", "", ],
["|test1","http://www.vg.no", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", ],
["|test2","/Main/Setup.asp", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", ],
Q: Do you have any tutorials on how to use dropdown menu maker?
A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.
1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on
the main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"
window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.
So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), deluxe-menu.html file and
data-deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.
Open deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows of
code into your page (for example index.html page of your website).
Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

You should also copy "deluxe-menu.files/" folder with all engine files
dmenu.js
dmenu_add.js
dmenu_dyn.js
dmenu_key.js
dmenu_cf.js
dmenu_popup.js
dmenu_ajax.js
dmenu_search.js
and data-deluxe-menu.js file into the same folder with your index.html page.

Q: Hello. I have noticed that when you expand a menu and then click to another page, the menu is collapsed on the next page. I read about "state saving" and tried the parameter which did not work. Is there a way to accomplish this?

This menu saves its state.
To enable this mode you should include dtree_ss.js file intoyour html page and set the following parameter:
var tsaveState = 1;
See, if you open pages (with menus) from different folder itmeans that you open different menus. So, when you change a state, forexample, of the first menu within "content/" folder and then openanother page with the menu within "content/subfolder/", browsers looks for anothercookie file and can't find it and the second menu stays in a defaultstate. Is it clear?
Q: I'm trying to install the menu. (I'm developping a new site im Dreamweaver). It does not work. Please help me.
A: Сould you write what exact problems do you have with themenu?
Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/FrontpageBuilder extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see: http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html
