Q: I have a quick question: I have an iframe menu item (see note 1) for the dhtml menu sample,
and when I click a link in that iframe, I would like to close the menu.
Is this possible, perhaps by using a javascript call?


A: You couldn't close the menu, you can only hide it.
You can try touse the following code to hide the menu.

You can also place your Iframe in DIV tag with indents.

Q: So, I am still interested if there is a dynamic way to rebuild (and restructure) a menu w javascript, just for interest.

A: No, unfortunately it is not possible to rebuild the menu withoutreloading of the page now. We'll add this feature in the next versionof the menu.



Q: I am trying to use the following horizontal tabs menu:

My problem is that the bitebackimage is not showing as you can see in the example below.

All the left and right side images appear, but not the repeating button background. All the images are in the same directory and have the same URL to point to them.

A: The reason is in your styles. Now you have in style.css file:

Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in my java menu scripts! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work Have we a problem with Danish letters like: ø, å, æ?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.
