A: Spiders can't read dynamically-generated Javascript code, so theycan't read menu links.
Search engine friendly means that you can add additional html codewithin your html page. You can generate such a code using Deluxe TunerGUI that you can find in the trial menu package. But if you'll use themenu without any additional html code, spider won't see menu links.


Q: After creating a menu using Deluxe Tuner, the exported menu.htm file, when viewed in IE, creates the “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for options…”

What do I do to prevent the menu from causing this error message?


A: You should adjust your browser settings.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/

and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.


Q: We are using Deluxe-menu to create dhtml menubar for our website. This website it will be in three languages, English, French and Spanish. In French version, when we insert "Hébergement" in text box and view it in preview is fine, but in actual webpage the accents not right. The following is screen shot of the menu on preview and webpage, please let me know how we can fix this problem.

A: You should set "Tools/Use UTF8 encode" and create your dhtml menubar.

Q: I just want to know after I generate the asp drop down menu, how can I put it in my html page ?


A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial now.
We'll try tocreate it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.

When you open Deluxe Tuner ( Deluxe Menu ) you can click "File/New"and add items
and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.
