  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. A: If you don't want to use items as links you can disable these items.
To disable item you should set target parameter to "_".

You can do it in "Item Parameters" window.

You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
  var tmenuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];

A: Unfortunately, title items doesn't allow to use Javascript in the sameway.
But you can do the following:

  var tmenuitems = [
["<div onclick='your_code_here'>title text</div>"]
];



Q: In deluxe tuner, on a horizontal dropdown menu, how I make sure long menu items can wrap into 2 lines? Losing my mind trying to figure this out.

For example...

Instead of.. International Music X Home Decoration X Books..... I want to to do:

International X Home X Books

Music Decoration

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

Or use standard <br> tags inside item's text:

["International Music X Home<br>Decoration X Books","", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", "", "", ],

Try that.

Q: Is transparent drop down menu compatable with MS Expression Web?

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menu into your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
