A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:

Q: For the attributes that can have top, left, right, bottom, i.e. border, padding, is there any way to specify just one of them in the javascript context menu? i.e. border-left: 2px. I tried 2px 0 0 0 but that doesn't seem to work.

A: You can set different border width , forexample:

  var itemBorderWidth="top right bottom left";



Q: Is it possible to expand vertical collapse menu in a predefined way?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
