You could specify exact width for menu using that parameter:

You can also set exact width for each top item using Individual Item Styles:

Q: For the dhtml tree that I purchased, can I choose what menus will be expanded or collapsed when the user first comes to the webpage forthe first time?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

Q: I need the sub menu to be vertical with the text on top of each other instead of horizontal way as as I have now on my website.
I have tried to change the smWidth & smHeight in the Dimension category but it shows no changes.

You should set this parameter:

Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels for the xml drop down menu?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner.
There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.
