Q: We currentlly have a menu that uses standard html hyperlinks to open a new window with _blank as the target. Unfortunately, the size of the window is controlled by the browser and we want to be able to control it. The only way that we know how to do that is to use the window.open client-side function and pass the window's dimensions. Here is a sample of the code that would do that:
window.open("url","_blank","height=1024,width=768,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no");
How can we add the javascript code to the down menus css instead of a link? Do you have any samples?
A: You can use javascript code within menuItems, for example

Q: I am new for this recently i downloaded this deluxe-menu trial version.
Can u please explain javascript expand menu (mene, table look like vista) creation and implement in html files, asp.net, php briefly.
A: 1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.
So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images("deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), deluxe-menu.html file anddata-deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.
Open deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows ofcode into your page (for example index.html page of your website).
Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

You should also copy "deluxe-menu.files/" folder with all engine files

and data-deluxe-menu.js file into the same folder with your index.html page.

I have tried fiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out. Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected after i click it and goto the page.
A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected drop down menu links tab.
You can set "bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.
For example, move " var bselectedItem" and " var bselectedSmItem" drop down menu links parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: I'm trying the deluxe menu and I'm positively impressed.
But now I'm trying to simply use javascript to add some properties to my menu.
I modified the dynamic to 1
and I get only one error in the javascript monitor telling me:

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0. (you have written menuInd=1, but if you have one menu on your page you should write 0).
You also have written itemStyleInd=1, but you have only one style in your menu. So you should write "0" or "-1".
