Q: Thanks, we tried giving   var pressedItem=0; and the script as below:

We are facing 2 problems

1) Two menus are getting highlighted, the "Home" and the dynamic html menu which is called onLoad using dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0); function)

2) The submenu of the dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0) is not getting highlighted.

A: Try to set
  var pressedItem=-2;

dm_ext_setPressedItem function has a following parameters:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)

So, if you want to highlight item in the submenu you should use itemInd of this item (notitemInd of the parent item).

For example you want to highlight submenu item of the 'Manage Users' parent item with
itemInd=15.

So you should write the function in the following way:
dm_ext_setPressedItem (0, 3, 15, 1, 1)

menuInd = 0 if you have only one menu on the page

Q: Why can't I have more than 5 buttons in Vista 1?

If I add any the color proporties do not show up.


A: You should assign Individual style to the new item.

Please, click on the new item.

In the window "Item Parameters" you should assign to Item Style"Top Item".


Q: The browser I am using is Internet Explorer 7.0 at Windows Vista (with "Security" set at "Medium"). I get the message "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer" and then I have to click this message/bar in order to "Allow blocked content". After I do that the javascript menu script appears as it should, but of course I don't want visitors to go through that. Q: I'm evaluating a copy of deluxe-tree and have a question about long items. I need to be able to either automatically wrap the line to fit the width given in the tmenuWidth variable or insert line breaks as I see fit.

At the moment I have found that I can insert the <br> tag to force a line to break but it messes up the space after the menu, if I have several one after the other then they will sit close together. If I add a
at the beginning of the menu entry then the space before is bigger than the default.

Is there any easy way around this?
