Recent Questions

Q: After creating and using a menu, is it possible to insert/change the position of a menu item?

For instance, I am using years in a submenu and the current year always needs to be at the top.

Is this possible with drag and drop or by some other means in the Tuner v2?


A: Yes you can do it.

To select a group of items you can use Shift and Ctrl keys.

To rename an item click on it and hold a mouse cursor for a second. Or use item parameters window.

To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.

To copy items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.Also you can use a contextual menu - a right mouse click on the list of items.


Q: If is there any way I can give some space between pressed_item and hover item for the rollover menus

A: You can try to specify spacing parameter:

  var itemSpacing=1;

You can also try to use separators.

You should add separator between menu items:

Q: I am Registered user.
My question is:
Can you have borders around the sub-menus only. If you can how is this done, if it is done in the individual styles can you walk me through that. I tried it there but for some reason it wasn’t working. I'm thinking I wasn’t selecting the correct item to edit.


A: You should create Individual style and assign it to the first item in each submenu.

Q: Trying to install XP style floating dhtml slide down menu but have these problems:

- Menu does not stay within table cell
- Is not floating

A: > - DHTML slide down menu does not stay within table cell

You're using the floating feature now. Your dhtml slide down menu will float withabsolute position only. So, now you have:

  var tabsolute=1;
  var tleft="1px";
  var ttop="1px";

That is why your dhtml slide down menu does not stay within table cell and hasabsolute position.
