  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

Q: One more question. How can I make the javascript submenus appear much more quickly? They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximatelyone second.

A: Try to adjust the following parameters:
  var dm_writeAll=0;

  var smShowPause=100;
  var smHidePause=1000;

  var transDuration=150;
  var transDuration2=200;

You can also turn off transitional effects
  var transition=-1;



Q: Is there a way I can do an include of a separate file that would contain the

       var menuItems = [];


A: You can delete   var menuItems = []; and dm_init(); from your data.jsfile and paste it into your html page or in the other file.

You should call at first data.js file with the parameters and thanmenuItems = []; and dm_init();.


Q: I am trying to evaluate the trial version of deluxepopup window.
The script popup works great but I am having a specific requirement of making it amodal window; i.e. when the popup is opened, users shouldn't be allowed to access the main page. Please let me know how to make this happen.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to create modal window using Deluxe Popup Window.It doesn't have such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions.
