  • Submenus drop down over all the objects of the page (select, flash, object, embed, applet). If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object, the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

Q: I was adding a title to the page containing the Turner Delux drop down menu and now the  the menu is gone and I cannot recover it.   

Please tell me in very plan instructions how to load the Mneu on to a blank Front Page web page.


A: See, you should do the following things.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
2. Export the menu into html file "File/Export/To HTML".
3. Copy generated folder with all engine .js files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" by default) and data-deluxe-menu.js (by default) into the same folder with you index.html page (created inFrontPage).
4. Now you should add several rows of code into your index.html file.
You can do it in FrontPage (open HTML source of the page and edit it)or in any text editor. Open your index.html page and edit it.
Notice that you'll have errors in the Preview. But you won't get errors if you open this page in the browser.
5. Add the following code in the tag:

Q: Using data-visa-5.js

Trying to get the menu to start collapsed rather than fully expanded.

Thought it was the   var texpanded=0 setting but doesn't seem to have any effect.

A: See, when you set + sign before item's text that is mean that thisitem will be expanded.

Q: Deluxe Menu supports keyboard navigation eg. CTRL+F2 to activate menu.

Why does Deluxe Tabs not have the same feature?

I would like to use both java script navigation menu systems on the same page, and both need to have keyboard navigation for accessibility reasons.

A: Unfortunately it is really so, Deluxe Tree and Deluxe Tabs doesn'thave such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions of the java script navigation menu.



Q: I like to keep the menu open as long 15 secs nothing happend or the user clicked outside of the menu.

How to do?

I have my Menu totaly outside of the Content and would like that it stays as the user choose, till he like to close or long time dispear. (smHidePause.. works ok, but when it is too long, he can not close manualy..)

What to do?


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
