Q: For example if you use the Growing Goodness menu located under Media Categories the first category is Agriculture w/ a sub category "Community Supported (CSA)" it is the sub category that is an active link. Is it possible to have only the active link "Community Supported (CSA) underlined and not Agriculture? Q: For some reason all of the menu items are squished together when I put the js code in my page.
Is my site's CSS overriding the ones set in the menu css? If so how do I get around this?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css


Q: Also, I was wondering about adding some css (style="cursor:pointer") so when someone is over the javascript pop menu it will turn into a hand and the user will know it is clickable.

A: Set the following javascript pop menu parameter:

  var itemCursor="pointer";



Q: What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab in the js tab menu,
so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:
