Q: How do I apply styles to submenu items that are different from the styles of top javascript drop down menu items? For instance, I want to know how to apply background images for the submenus, but not for the menu items. I also want borders around the submenu ITEMS, not just the entire submenu. Q: How can I change supported language in sliding navigation bar?

A: You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.
So, youshould set UTF-8 encode on your page too

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html"charset="UTF-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.




Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: Is it correct that in javascript treeview menu you can specify your target as a different frame?

A: Yes, you can specify frame name as the target in Deluxe Tree:
