A: You should assign Individual style to the new item.

Please, click on the new item.

In the window "Item Parameters" you should assign to Item Style"Top Item".

A: If you don't want to use items as links you can disable these items.
To disable item you should set target parameter to "_".

You can do it in "Item Parameters" window.


Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:

Q: Can a menu item that expands the submenu items when selected also work as a link?

A: Actually you cannot use links for the top items in the XP Style.

But you can write:

But in that case the submenu and link open when you press "About Us" item. I think that it is not verygood behaviour. You can also try to specify target parameter
