Q: I've noticed something strange in the Deluxe Tree and I am wondering if this is normal.

Here's an example I have in my "data.js" file to populate the javascript ajax tree:

Here's basically how it goes:

- Basically the "0" represents a pre-built style that I have set for the root of my tree.

- Under this are the first child of the root called "Francais" and "English" which I link with a JS file to populate (Because the users will customize the alerts they want to see).

This works perfectly fine. But it is a workaround. Let me explain what I wanted in the first place:

Basically I wanted to have 1 javascript ajax tree with 2 root items "Mes alertes" and "My alerts" but it seems impossible to attach a js file to the root of the tree view. (It doesn't get populated).

Any ideas?

A: See AJAX feature won't work for first-level in XP style now.

It works if you use:
  var tXPStyle=0;

Q: How does the search engine stuff work. A web developer told me to stay away from java script if you want google to recognize your webpage.
Can you comfort me by telling me how it works.


A: Spiders can't read dynamically-generated Javascript code, so theycan't read menu links.
Search engine friendly means that you can add additional html codewithin your html page. You can generate such a code using Deluxe TunerGUI that you can find in the trial menu package. But if you'll use themenu without any additional html code, spider won't see menu links.

Q: Do you have a version where the javascript expand menu does not disappear when someone clicks on it?


A: If you set the value <-1 of smHidePause parameter
your submenus won't be hidden at all, untill you reload your page.

Q: I appreciated your prompt response.  However, if I set the exact height for easy tabs content, certain tab's content will not show up fully.  We need to have every tab has different height in this site.  Do you know why IE 7 doesn't behavior properly but IE 6 does?  Can you provide a work around for me ASAP?

A: In that case you should delete height parameter at all from yourstyles.
