Q: So, I'm actually developing an application with wordpress, and I would like to intagrate this excellent javascript navigation menu.
This site is Educational, and provides media about TI, for students of the Autonom University of Tamaulipas, in Mexico.
A: Actually we're using Deluxe Menu in our WordPress blogs without anyproblems.
You should edit the php template of your theme.
1. Go to Design -> Theme Editor
Open header.php file

2. Upload folder with all menu files on your server
3. Add the following code in the <head> tag:

<script type="text/javascript" src="menu/dmenu.js"></script>
where 'menu' is the folder with all menu file on your server.
4. Call data file in the place where you want to have the menu, forexample:

5. Click 'Update File' button.

Q: I wanted to know if there's a way to make in the javascript expand menu the submenu to appear as regular text, not a link. Is there a way to do this?
A: Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.
For example:

Q: Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to leave a main java swing menu bar item highlighted when in that section. For example if I clicked on "Contact Us" and when I am on the contact us page, the "Contact us" navigation would still be highlighted. I appreciate any help you might have, thanks!
A: The java swing menu bar has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.
You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an java swing menu bar item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: Is there a way to make the dhtml pull down menu not reset after a link is clicked.
Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page
but all the menus re-expand.
A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the menu.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:
1. Save the state to cookies
var tsaveState=0;
2. Use frames
3. Put the special script on each page of site that will open appropriate section:
