Q: We are using a licenced version of your tree-menu.
Now we have a situation, where we should show the actualclicked menu position with an icon or a color for a collapse tree menu.

A: This can be found with the help of external function of tree menu.
dtreet_ext_userClick(itID, event) - this function is called when clicking a mouse button on the item.

itID - item id
event - standard structure of events generated browser
dtreet_ext_getItemParams (menuInd, itemID) - returns all item parameters.

Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: We had a strange problem with the menus when the sub menus are over applet in https: the applet disappeared.

After doing some Investigation in your code we noticed that you are using in HTTPS mode div instead of Iframe.

We would be happy if you can tell us why you are using div in this mode and if we will use http mode will it cause something that can affect the menus


A: Iframes don't work on https:// websites. You'll get warning message. That's why we're using <div> tag.If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latterwill be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

If you use Deluxe Menu on https:// website, submenus won't drop downover select boxes within iframe objects. It works fine on a non-secureservers only.


Q: At the first time arrow images are loaded successfully in the menu, That time I click the menu and open a new page in crossframe.
After that I try to open new page from Main Menu, the arrow images are not displayed in the Sub-menus.

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
