Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

Q: What's happening is the rollover drop down menu sits at the very top-left of the web page..
No matter what I seem to try, I can't get it to fit in a space that seems plenty big for it.


A: Please check that you use relative position for the menu.
You should set these parameters:

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="0px";
  var posY="0px";

Q: I have the mouseover menu working fine but want the chosen option to display in a tab under the menu.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't have API functions to set pressed item on-the-fly. You can set presseditem on the page loading only.

But you can use onClick event for the Deluxe Menu items and call the following function toopen appropriate tab:

dtabs_itemClick(menuN, itemN);

where
menuN - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
itemN - index of a tab you want to show, >=0.

Q: If you use firefox this displays fine, in IE it seems to add cell padding around the bottom & right edge of the dhtml image menu. Cant see it in the code anywhere.

A: Set the following parameter:

Is it possible to use the AXAJ-Like technology in popup mode?
Is it possible to use the Javascript-API in popup mode?
