  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: We are using Deluxe-menu to create dhtml menubar for our website. This website it will be in three languages, English, French and Spanish. In French version, when we insert "Hébergement" in text box and view it in preview is fine, but in actual webpage the accents not right. The following is screen shot of the menu on preview and webpage, please let me know how we can fix this problem.

A: You should set "Tools/Use UTF8 encode" and create your dhtml menubar.

Q: I develop with a mac and I would like to know if your navigation bar maker is mac compatible?

A: You should download free trial version on MAC.
So, you'll have MAC version of Deluxe Menus:

Unfortunately we don't have html version of the Tuner for Deluxe Tree

Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in dhtml menue.
I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work.
Have we a problem with Danish letters?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor,
enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.

Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting in
order to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.



Q: I am still struggling with multiple menus on one page.
It is probably something I am doing wrong, but I cannot see it.


A: Now you have:

  var absolutePos=1;
  var posX="10";
  var posY="10";


So, both of your menus have the same absolute position.

You can use relative position and place your menu inside <table>. In this case you should write so:

  var absolutePos=0;
