Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: I'm trying out your cool dropdown menu code.

I'm trying to rebuild my menu like this one

I have a problem. In my case, I have some really long labels and some short ones. In some cases my text is larger than the button (see attachment). In your example all the buttons have the same width. Is it possible to have a Vista styled menu with different width for the buttons?

A: See images in Vista Templates have the fixed width and height (92 x 21).

If you want to change items' width/height you should change images.

You can do it in any graph editor, for example in Adobe PhotoShop.

You should also change items width in your Individual Item Style.

Q: Can I show / hide the javascript floating menu as needed.

A: You should paste javascript code into item's link field of the floating menu,for example:

Q: I have seen a certain menu effect on a few websites and have so far been unable to reproduce it in simply HTML/CSS. Today I saw the effect on a website, looked at the source code and it appears they are using some of your code.

I have a fairly typical screen layout with a menu bar on the left hand 10% of the screen and the main screen content on the right 90%. Some of my screens get very long, so that when you scroll all the way down to the bottom, the menu is left way up off screen. I would like the menu block to move down so that it is always a certain number of pixels below the top of the viewed screen, not the absolute top of the page. Is this something your software does? If so, which one of your products?


A: You can create such menu with Deluxe Menu.
You should use floatable menu, so you can always see the menu.
But to use the floatable feature
