A: If you want to change the background of the top level menu items onlyyou should use Individual Item Styles and change them.

For example, you have:

Q: I need the sub menu to be vertical with the text on top of each other instead of horizontal way as as I have now on my website.
I have tried to change the smWidth & smHeight in the Dimension category but it shows no changes.

Q: I have been trying for months to find an answer to my submenu problem using your FAQ and Recent Questions.
The only thing that comes close to an answer is from one of your Recent Questions below, but I don't understand the answer. Will you please give me specific code or info to fix? Please refer to my frameset code and data.js info, which I've provided further down this message.

I am using cross frame menu dropdown. I have three frames: Top, Left and main (middle).

I am using the script and data from your sample file, it works fine. Only problem is submenu is offset to the right. It does not show up exactly down below the top javascript hide menu.

A: Yes, I suppose that the reason is in your frame structure. For examplenow you have:

top -------------------
       **MENU**
left--|main------------
       |
       | **submenus**
       |

Try to add additional frame in your top frame with the same width asyour left frame has:

l-top-|right-top-----------------
       | **MENU**
left--|main----------------------
       |
       | **submenus**
       |

Q: May I use this menu in Arabic mode I mean in right to left mode?

If yes please let me know how?


A: You're able to use any characters for Deluxe Menu in the same way asyou use them for standard html page.

The only issue is that submenus can be shown in incorrect positionwhen you're using dir=rtl for your page.

  var dmRTL = 0;
Set this parameter to 1 if you're using right-to-left direction of html page <HTML dir=rtl>.

Use also
  var smViewType = 2;
for right-to-left languages.

This examples demonstrates how the menu can change a submenusdirection. Use   var smViewType parameter to change a submenusdirection:

  var smViewType = 0..3;

Values:
0 - from left to right;
1 - from left to right + upwards;
2 - from right to left;
3 - from right to left + upwards;

In Deluxe Menu when you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

<script src="data.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Unfortunately, you can't use arabic characters in Deluxe Tuner application.You should manually correct your code.
