Q: May I can use PHP code in menu items of my dhtml website navigation menu?

A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: I have a quick question: I have an iframe menu item (see note 1) for the dhtml menu sample,
and when I click a link in that iframe, I would like to close the menu.
Is this possible, perhaps by using a javascript call?


A: You couldn't close the menu, you can only hide it.
You can try touse the following code to hide the menu.

Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
