  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.

Q: I am working with drop down menu creator that I just downloaded and am having problems with where the menu is being placed. It looks likemaybe the "trial" logo is in the right spot but the menu is appearing several rows below where I insert it. Any ideas?

Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: I see you have a right click in expanding menu javascript, is this function available in Deluxe Menu?


A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item.

However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

Q: The xml drop down menu gets at the back of the flash..Can you tell us the problem?

A: You can try to add the following parameters for flash objects:

<PARAM NAME=wmode VALUE=opaque> and WMODE="opaque" for <EMBED>

It allows to overlap a flash movie by other layers.
