I've been looking at the javascript tree source and am a bit worried that the links used will not be recognised by Search Engine robots - do you have any information regarding implementation of your menus so that the links are fully visible to search engines ?

A: You can generate search engine friendly code.
Deluxe Tree is a search engine friendly menu since v2.4.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

...etc.
</div>

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).



Q: I have downloaded your trial version and cannot change the background menu color.
Is there a restriction?

A: To change the background color you should set the followingparameters:

A: You should set the following parameters

  var texpandItemClick = 1;
  var tcloseExpanded = 1;
  var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;

Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.


Q: I am attempting to use the deluxe menu with frames. After click a few links the popup part of the menu stops showing up. This especially happens if the content of the main frame requires scrolling. In this case the scroll bar just flickers when I put the mouse over the menu.

Do you know why this would happen?

Please, notice also that Deluxe Menu can work within 1 frameset only.
It can't work within nested framesets. It is possible that you'll havesome errors.

The menu will work correctly in the cross-frame mode if you load pages into the sub frame from the same domain.If you load pages from another domain submenus won't be shown in the subframe - they will be shown in the frame with the top-menu.It's caused by a security policy of browsers - a script can't modify a content of pages from another domain.
