Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in dhtml menue.
I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work.
Have we a problem with Danish letters?

A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".

Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">

You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor,
enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.

Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting in
order to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.



Q: I can not figure out how to build tab drop down menus?

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the
DIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

Q: Just downloaded and installed the latest version, noticed it does not say beta any longer. On this version and the previous version I had installed I can not click and move the window open script around on the screen when using Firefox. When I used IE it works as expected, I can move it and it sticks in position. Is there a fix for this?

A: See we've made many changes in window open script in v3.3.

Your old pop up windows (data files) won't work with new engine file.You should recreate your popup window in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:
