Q: It all works great under IE, but when you view it in Firefox the fly-out menus (off of Products, Services & About Us) do not appear over the Flash animation to the right in IE.

It works fine under Firefox on all other pages apart form Home, because Home is the only page with containing the Flash animation.

Could you please have a look and let us know if this is a known issue (we're using the latest 8 dmenu .js file, time-stamped 11 April 2006).

Q: I am trying to use the following horizontal scrolling tabs:

My problem is that the bitebackimage is not showing as you can see in the example below.

All the left and right side images appear, but not the repeating button background. All the images are in the same directory and have the same URL to point to them.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

A: The reason is in your styles. Now you have in style.css file:

Q: I really like how this works and I think it will wind up working for us, but I have a question. On the xp style dynamic tree menu, is there a way when you click one of the 'headers' that will open up other choices for example on your http://www.deluxe-tree.com/data-samples/tree-menuxp3.html tree. When youclick either the deluxe tree:xp style or the samples gallery or the samples gallery2 section, can you make it so it opens a page in another frame? The way it is now you it wont open a page until you click on the 'samples block 1' or below.

A: Actually you cannot use links for the top items in the XP Style.
But theoretically you can use links for the top items. You can write

And using the dm_frameinit like this:

it works fine in IE -> the menus are displayed exactly under the text and in the bottom right frame.

However, in Firefox, the menu drop down is displayed to the right of the top menu text, and exactly the number of pixels as the width of the left frame.

Perhaps there needs to be some FireFox checking to fix this?
Can you help me with that?


A: The problem is in a structure of your frameset.
Mozilla browsers can't determine absolute coordinates for a frame, sosubmenus drop down with an offset.

You should create the following frameset structure:

 --|------------
   | menu
 --|------------
   |
   | submenus
   |

Now a top row has 2 columns and all browsers can determine awidth of the 1st column in the second row.
