Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:

Q: Is there a way to hide a menu options in the navigation menu using either CSS or the java api based on the site user?

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.




Q: I should mean the font style that I failed to update after I have selected and assign font as shown in the pic above.

Step 1. using the sample data file
Step 2. select the font section of the Parameter Step3. click the font style and a window box will show up all the installed fonts
Step4. the default font is Tahoma, so I change it Times Roman
Step5. select Times Roman and click the Assign Font button There is no response with or without option Auto

The style font box did not update nor the preview


A: You should click OK button, not "Assign Font" button when you choosethe font. It is possible that you have to click "Update" button on the"Preview" window.


Q: Where can I give the body of the javascript method which I use in cool dhtml menu?


A: You can define functions after menuItems, before you call dm_init();function.
