Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I am using the GUI, and have read in your literature that you can put the HTML table in the text area of the javascript select menu item.

However, when I do this nothing displays. Can you please let me know where I a supposed to put the HTML info into the gui. I just want this to be able to show when I click the tab.

A: You should paste your content in the <div> .. </div> tags.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

Q: If i use windows tree menu and published on my web site it is default all menu and submenu areopened . I want that all menu is default closed if user click on main menu itwill be opened submenu. Please wich parameters i have to change. Please help me

A: You should set the following parameter:
  var texpanded=0;

Check also that you don't have '+' sign before item's text in the top items, for example:

Q: I have a transparent dhtml menu located at the bottom of the page with just one level of submenus. On larger screens, the submenus open either upwards or downwards, depending on how many items are in the transparent dhtml menu.

Can I set the submenu's to always open upwards?

A: Try to set the following parameter:

Q: I found some strange things while positioning the javascript hide menu. Does javascript hide menu behave different depending on where you are hosting your site?

A: Deluxe Menu is a Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you're using.
