Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: Great product and incredible user friendly interface to loadeverything up! I wasn't used to such a user friendly interface and was looking way to hard.

I did have one question though. When I open up Deluxe Tuner and click on the javascript slide down menu sample to the left (with the search box), I get the following message:

I click no, and the javascript slide down menu comes up, but no search box! Any idea why this is so?

A: There will be no search box in that template.

Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.

For example:

Q: We are wanting to make this collapsible menu Dynamic by reading from a Microsoft SQL Data base.What is the approach in accomplishing this?

A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

This example is not for Deluxe Tree menu, but you can create your menu in the same way.

Q: If need to make changes do I need to replace all the files and folder and script in all the web pages? Or are there just one or two files that need to be replaced? Which files or folders?


A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.


Q: If you look at my page in IE 7, the position of the submenus is too far over to the left from drop down menu. It is fine in Firefox.
Do you have any suggestions on this??


A: Try to set exact width for the menu:
