  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: I'm confused in how to do this. I want to change the background color of one of the javascript and menu items. If I understand correctly I go to INDIVIDUAL STYLES and should be able to change the background color for one of the menu items there. Under item appearance I tried to change itemBackColor - but I can't seem to make it take affect (I tried clicking OK but its under the Style Names, so thats probably not it.

A: You should click "Edit Individual Styles" button.

On the 'Item Styles' tab click "Add style" button.

Set itemBackColor and click "OK" button.

Select the item you want to change the style for and assign new style for it. Go to Item Parameters window 'Item style' field.

Q: I'm a registered user. I'm looking to make a space between dhtml cross browser menu buttons, I checked the FAQ which suggested using ["-"], between items but it didn't work. It deleted the dhtml cross browser menu items below it. I'm looking to put a space between

A: To add a separator you should

Q: I have built a new drop down css menu.

I have a named frame body but when I use the menu creater it works and changes the frame but when loaded to the site it says error on page.

what have I done wrong ?

Try the home which calls home_body.htm and about us which calls About Us.html in the body frame top the right of the menu.

A: You cannot use local paths on the Internet sites. They won't work.

A: You are able to paste any html code within items.

So you can paste a form too.
