  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I think that your product is great makes everything look nice and professional with the drop down menu Items. My question is I have certain menu Items that I will need to disable at certain times. I do this now using a standard button and grabbing my parameters from an SQL database. Is there a way for me to basically pull which menu items I need disabled and present the customized menu for each client. I have read that your product has this ability I was looking for a little guidance or maybee a write up on someone that has done this.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You should write your own code, for example, on PHP.

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(1, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.

Q: I want create a vertical dropdown menu with vertical - Submenu's. Is this possible?

A: You should set the following parameters to create vertical menu:

  var isHorizontal=0;
  var smOrientation=0;




Q: No matter where I place the code, the html free menu always appears in the top left of the page,
I need it elsewhere obviously but it simply won't move.

A: You're using absolute position for the menu now.
You should use relative position in that case.
Change the following parameters:

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="0px";
  var posY="0px";




Q: You have a great, and very intuitive and easy to learn, product.

I'm down to two dumb questions:

A. What controls the little red arrows? I'd like them on every one of the navigators.
B. How do I create equal space between the drop down menu items? It looks weird right now.

A: 1) If your top item has a submenu this arrow will appear automatically.

For the items without submenus you may write:
