  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: But where on javascript drop down menu creator I can set the dmsearch=2 ? I can't find it, there isn't an option or submenu for the search box on the left side of deluxe tuner.

A: Use last version of javascript drop down menu creator v3.2.

You can find

  var dmSearch=2;

parameter in the "Advanced" section of parameter's list.

Then you should select an item (where you want to add search box), forexample first item and add

search:value='search...' style='border:1px;width:60px;height:14;font-size:10px;'

code into the "Link" field directly ("Item Parameters" window).



Q: I'm trying to have two separate menus on my web page. I read what was written in your FAQs about multiple menus, but the response was too cryptic.

It seems to me that if the dmWorkPath for each menu is declared separately, then the menus should work separately (with no interaction). I did not find this to be the case.

Do you have more complete information about creating multiple menus on one page? I would like to understand the issues.


A: David, if you want to create multiple menus on one page you should only call several data.js files with the menu.

For example you can see templates.html. You can find this file in the trial package.


Q: I have 6 menu items that are ALL graphics...they can't just be background images because they all have graphic text, so the rollovers are unique to each menu item. I just need it to function like a typical rollover with images.


A: Yes, you can create such menu.

You should write your menu items in the following way:

Q: I follow the installation instructions, but I’m getting the error "dmObjectsCheck is undefined" in my javascript popup menu.

A: You should open your data file in Deluxe Tuner and save it.
