Q: I have noticed on your menus that have multiple nodes, you areallowing only the icon to be clicked and expand the tree. How would I alter the code so that when a user clicks anywhere on the tree with multiple nodes, the entire tree expands instead of the user having to be so precise in selecting the tiny icon to expand the tree.


A: You should set the following parameter to expand item on a mouseclick:

  var texpandItemClick=1;


Q: Can I create a pop up using javascript that fly's out after 10 seconds.

Please advise.

A: Create popup window and set openAfter=10 parameter to it.
You can find this parameter in 'Actions' section.

Q: I can not figure out how you put the arrow that shows there's more information in the php drop down menu?
I tried and tried to figure it out where you add this .gif file?

A: You should set the following parameters in your data.js file:

  var arrowImageMain=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowmain.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowmaino.gif"];
//Normal and mouseover arrow images for top-level items.

  var arrowImageSub=["deluxe-menu.files/arrowsub.gif","deluxe-menu.files/arrowsubo.gif"];
// Normal and mouseover arrow images for submenu items.

You can set these parameters in Deluxe Tuner also:

Open 'Icons' section in the main window and set   var arrowImageMain and   var arrowImageSubparameters.



Q: I can't seem to figure out how to specify the width of individual javascript pulldown menu items. I would like to specify that each menu item on the horizontal take up just 113px regardless of the number of characters in the item. Is there a way of doing that?

A: You should use   var itemStyles to set an individual item style. Forexample:

  var itemStyles = [
["itemWidth=113px"]
];

  var menuItems = [
["text 1", "link", "icon1", "icon2", "tip", "target", "0"],
["text 2", "link", "icon1", "icon2", "tip", "target", "0"],
["text 3", "link", "icon1", "icon2", "tip", "target", "0"],
];

Where "0" - style number in itemStyles that contains the parametersfor items width.

Use Deluxe Tuner GUI to create and assign individual styles.
